A message from our Founder - A Long and Interesting Journey
Since running a business providing metrologic instruments to the agriculture, livestock, food and manufacturing industries, it has provided me an insight into modern, commercial scale food production and processing methods.
In short, the prolific use of high temperatures, chemicals, additives, preservatives and sugar is prevalent and this has significantly altered the natural state of food to a point where our digestive systems are overwhelmed and no longer can process all the unnatural substances found in modern food, thus causing significant inflammation throughout our bodies, leading to a host of problems, early aging and sickness.
Topping off all this is a modern lifestyle of indulgence, non-regular meals, long work hours, lack of exercises and excesses, most of us would have encountered severe or even life-threatening episodes of illnesses at one time or another.
Our Stomach is Our Second Brain!
All inflammation starts in the GUT! So says Dr Pradip Jamnadas, MD (4).
Human beings have a huge neural network that links the stomach and intestines to the brain called the Vagus Nerve.
Each of us carry within us a 3-4 kg of live microbes in our gut.
With modern food and lifestyles, we are filled with microbes in our gut that gouge on sugar, highly oxidised food (deep fried food), carbohydrates and oily foods.
The microbes in your gut stimulate the brain through interaction with the stomach lining.
If the ratio of ‘good’ intestinal microbes to ‘bad’ is low, our brain will be stimulated to consume more ‘bad’ foods compared to ‘natural’ food as the ‘bad’ microbes keep agitating the brain to bring it the food it likes.
Over time, your body will be overwhelmed and various health issues will soon surface.

Having not just seen the effects modern foods and lifestyles have on our lives, but also experienced a life-threatening episode of illness myself, the need to change became necessary and urgent.
Fixing the ecosystem of our Microbiome (Gut) was and is the key to unlocking the secret to good health.
Turning to nature to ‘reset’ the Microbiome became the clear solution forward. (5)
Having been introduced to Kefir by a close friend and learning to make and consume it regularly, the change in the state of my health was clear and significant. Sharing the benefits of Kefir and the concept of resetting the Microbiome became a favourite subject whenever I met friends and colleagues.
With the prodding and support of a friend running a health food concept store, plus the encouragement of family members, the decision to make and promote Kefir commercially became a clear decision.
Nature has given us all we need to have for a healthy and long life.
All we need to do is choose NATURE FOR HEALTH.
